December 21, 2007 marked a quarter of a century since Creamer departed from Cape May aboard the Globe Star to set a World record in navigation.

In all recorded history, only one man has circumnavigated the globe without the use of navigational instruments. Marvin Creamer sailed his 36-foot Globe Star around the world with not even a compass to guide him, yet few people have heard of this feat.

Although Creamer's circumnavigation was well documented and is beyond any dispute, you will find little information about the voyage. Guinness Book of Records refused to recognize it (read their response on the Webmaster's page)!

This website has been created to inform and hopefully to bring proper recognition to Marvin Creamer and the Globe Star.
