The Designer of the Globe Star was Brewer, Wallstrom & Associates, Inc. of Brooklin, Maine. The upper photos were borrowed from Ted Brewer's website. The HUROMIC 35 is the current version of the GODERICH 35, which Professor Creamer selected for his singular feat. You can find more details about this steel-hulled boat on Brewer's website: http://www.tedbrewer.com/

Creamer's GLOBE STAR (sometimes written "Globestar") has changed hands and moved around quite a bit in the past twenty years. It served several years as a training boat for the Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland. It was then sold to someone in Great Britain and from there it moved to the West Indies and finally back to America.

The Globe Star was resting on a cradle in Raleigh, North Carolina, when these pictures were taken in 2004. The owner hoped that someone or an organization would make a memorial of it, but it didn't happen. Steel and aluminum prices are high and the boat has likely gone to the scrap yard.
