Europe's largest sailing magazine, YACHT, ran a 6-page article about
Creamer's voyage in its August, 2011 issue (#17/2011). This was the
first many Europeans had heard about Marvin Creamer's circumnavigation without
instruments, prompting some well-known navigators to question the fact! The
Globe Star voyage article was followed by another 4-page spread on celestial
navigation that also mentions Creamer's voyage.

Marvin Creamer is still sailing at 95! He sailed with his son and other family members
from Maine to Bermuda and return.
